So since I’ve now converted all my bookmarks over to del.icio.us I’ve started bookmarking more, for one, but also I’ve picked up a technique to start bookmarking other peoples delicious bookmarks. Essentially, creating what my father likes to call a DO loop. So I’m using a bookmark site to bookmark other’s profiles from the same bookmark site. Odd eh? My original thought was it would be cool to be able to keep up with people like Jeremy Keith, Jeffrey Veen, Jake Mckee, and get some insight into what they dig and what things they’re researching on any given day. Maybe pick-up something I wouldn’t normally pick up.
Then I started to think, wait, isn’t that a bit stalker-ish? I’m essentially looking through their stuff aren’t I? Isn’t that weird?
Then I came to the conclusion that if they didn’t want their stuff attainable they wouldn’t put it up on delicious in the 1st place. Also, I put myself in their shoes, and if someone wanted to see what I’m bookmarking would I care? Hell, not only would I not care, but it might make for good conversation. SO STALK ON I SAY!
