All I can say is by contributing and being apart of a community to hold you accountable (as well as having friends/family around) is what continues to make yourself successful.  Don&#039;t be afraid to go to them and say, &quot;Look, you know and I know I&#039;ve had an issue with my weight, if it gets out of hand, I give you permission to say something to me.&quot;  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Screw the social norms, this is about your life. I have friends who have been very successful, and others that have been very successful at defeating the surgery. I hope and pray that my determination will stick - and will lean heavily on family and friends to keep me in line.</description>
